Antique and Contemporary Indian Baskets

The HISTORIC BASKET collection, from the period covering circa 1880 to 1950, is from the Southwest, California and Northwest Coast, including Pima, Apache, Mission, Pomo, Hupa, Karuk, Washoe, Chemehuevi, Yokuts, Maidu, Havasupai, Hopi, Navajo, Tubatulabal, Paiute, Patwin, Makah, Mono, Panamint, and Tlingit amongst others.

CONTEMPORARY BASKETS FROM THE WOUNAAN TRIBE OF PANAMA are generally considered to be the finest baskets being made anywhere in the world today, and perhaps ever made, anywhere!
